There is no sleep needed for angels, no one action that is required for the continued strength of ourselves.  I almost wish that there were, as it would be much easier to restore my usual energy if I only knew what to do.

I have spent many long hours with Danit and Kuya, discussing what may be done in this case.  This form of relationship is a challenge I have never taken on before, and I am not quite certain how to proceed.  They agree that it is a difficult case in which to begin—even Zezette spared some time to observe and said that she would not have chosen to give such a case to an Archangel.  She was kind enough to say, however, that she has faith in my ability to succeed.  I wish that I had similar faith.

My brother and sister Cupids have all given their suggestions as well—it has become quite the celebrity case in heaven.  Nehisi believes that I should advise Pamela to cut her losses altogether, while Ahury has hope that the relationship can still be repaired.  Brid believes that I should forget about William and Angela for a while and focus on helping Pamela, and she has kindly offered to look in on her.  I would have accepted, but I know that Brid herself is busy with a few difficult cases.  If she had the freedom, perhaps, but this is my difficulty to cope with, not hers, and I cannot allow her charges to suffer for the sake of my own.

Meanwhile Pamela has thrown herself into reckless relationships in order to forget the hurt her mother has dealt her.  There are two different men who come to her house now at nights, though not at the same time, thank the Father.  Shopping and drinking have also happened frequently, though I did manage to make certain the latter only happened when Pamela had one of her friends to look after her.  I shudder to think what she might do if left to her own devices under the influence of alcohol.

In such a merry season, it is hard to be under so much strain, for me and for Pamela.  I do not know what to do.  Please, if you have any advice or suggestions, I would be grateful to hear.  In the meantime, I will continue to stand beside Pamela, and hope that the answer comes to us, as it sometimes does at the Father’s bidding.
