Several of you have asked me about my second new charge, whether I will meet them soon or not.  I have been curious about the same thing, and so I asked Danit about it today.  She tells me that circumstances in her life—for it is a woman I will be working with—have made it a poor time for me to be introduced to her, and so she has delayed.

I am not entirely sure what this means, for Danit did not elaborate.  This has never happened to me, but I know that human choices often disrupt the plans of angels.  All we can do is keep on the move.

Speaking of moving, Pamela will be flying out for her trip to London in just a few days now.  She is very excited and will tell anyone who will listen all about her plans.  Less excited about a departure is Brooke, who looks on her own preparations with a mixture of excitement and misgiving.  It has helped, however, to have the increasing support of Morgan’s parents, who thanks to Samuel’s realization on Father’s Day are now fully reconciled to their daughter’s relationship.

All the rest of my charges are doing well.  As for my young angel protégés, they are a joy to work with, and I always learn something from them.  I must go now and meet with Duerre—while he does not necessarily need my help with today’s charge, he has invited me to go along with him, and I enjoy watching him work.  I will write again when I have more news.
