Only time for the briefest of updates, so here we are:

Brooke and Morgan are still together, but there is great tension between them.  They rarely speak, preferring to send one another text messages.  Brooke is hardly able to concentrate on her work, while Morgan has decided to take some time off work to think.  I have been with both of them, and I am encouraged that neither of them wishes to end the relationship.  They are simply unsure of how to continue.

Mary and Natalie have become friends, having exchanged information that will allow them to connect online.  They share many of the same interests in books and movies; Mary has already finished the book that Natalie loaned to her, and she had a few titles to recommend in return.  As yet they have not talked of anything serious, but I hope that soon they will be able to.

Shannon and Mark are making progress.  I have seen a softness in Shannon’s spirit these past days that encourages me.  Her feelings for Mark are growing stronger, and those feelings have improved her attitude tremendously.  They are planning an evening in for later this month—Shannon will make dinner, and then they will watch television together.  There is some implication that they will also explore the physical in their relationship that night, and while I am not quite certain they are ready for that, I am glad they are so easy with one another.

Pamela is beginning to blossom again.  She is preparing for the transfer, avoiding Daniel, and getting to know Christine much better.  Last night she introduced Christine to her group of friends, and they got along splendidly—Mal and Christine especially liked one another.  I think that this new friendship will be very rewarding for Pamela, and a great help for her as she recovers from the stress that Daniel brought into her life.

Jonathan and Lauren are well, as are Myrtle and Jaquinn.  I will talk more about them another time—Inca is waiting for me.
